No talking! Stop!
Ask for a lawyer
Police have come to your door, they have a few questions for you. Do NOT let them in. Do not open the door. And do not answer any questions.
The police don't say what it's about. They insist that you are not in any trouble, that you aren't under arrest.
DO NOT answer their questions. Ask them to leave. Do all of these things as politely and firmly as possible. As soon as they leave, lock the door and call an attorney. Get an attorney as soon as possible. Next time they come seeking information, they might detain you, arrest you or a loved one.
If they ask you to go someplace with them, refuse to go, AND refuse to answer questions. And when they leave, get an attorney.
If you are arrested, and they tell you your rights, ask to talk with your attorney. Don't chit chat with police, ask for an attorney and that's it.
